Topographic Surveys & Site Plans

The purpose of this survey is to locate both natural and man-made topographic features on a parcel of land. Examples of such features include elevations/contours, significant trees, and water features. A topographic survey is typically implemented through a combination of aerial photography and ground field methods. Site plan surveys combine the elements of boundary and topographic surveys. Site plans are used to determine the existing conditions of a site and are used as a tool for design and development.
